The Picture This... Series

There are two different versions of Picture This...

Picture This... Standard Edition is our original version which contains a basic program to help you format photos and 2700 photos from 30 different categories.

Picture This... Pro , with over 5,000 photos, is the most popular version. The professional version contains a powerful formatting program which allows you to print any size card, a phonetic and word search engine, plus many other features which are described below. Any of add-on photo collection CDs can be used alone or combined with Picture This... Pro.

What's Included on the CDs?

Both versions of Picture This... contain an easy-to-use program that allows you to format photos into various size flash cards with or without text. You can also create lotto boards with different colored borders. In addition, you can easily add your own words or sentences so that the cards will be tailored to your student's needs.

Picture This... Pro allows you to do everything listed above, plus the following:

-Search phonetically or by word
-Print labels in English, French, German, Spanish or Italian
-Easily move and copy pictures
-Print any custom-sized card with or without colored borders
-Print colored labels above or below the picture
-Use the clipboard to copy pictures into and out of Picture This...

Picture This... Standard Edition contains over 2700 high-resolution photos shot against a plain background. The photos are sorted into the following categories: actions, animals, bathroom, bedroom, body, buildings, clothing, colors, electronics, emotions, food, furniture, holidays, household, kitchen, lineart, music, nature, opposites, people, places, prepositions, rooms, sequences, shapes, sports, tools, toys, travel and vehicles.

Picture This... Pro contains an additional 2300 photos plus 8 new categories - chores, health, math, money, school, time, "what's different?" and "what's wrong?".

Which version of Picture This... is best for me?

You don't need to be a professional to use Picture This... Pro. It is much more flexible than the basic Picture This... program, allowing you to create cards exactly as you would like them to look. If you need to create certain size cards for a picture schedule or communication book, we highly recommend that you purchase Picture This... Pro.

If you are a speech therapist, you will love the phonetic search capabilities of the Pro version. They enable you to search by initial, medial and final sounds allowing you to easily create your own set of articulation cards.

The pro version also has features that early users of Picture This... requested. Such as the ability to easily move pictures around on the grid, copy and paste, and import and export.

What can I do with the cards?

The flash cards are great for picture schedules, communication boards, and for teaching matching skills, reading skills and receptive or expressive vocabulary. With the new Professional Edition, you can easily create your own articulation cards.
