Glide Sheets
Designed from lightweight, washable fabric, these glide sheets have ultra low friction surfaces, allowing easy movement of the patient. The fabric is doubled and sewn together in a loop, ensuring a smooth glide between two surfaces, thus reducing skin friction for the patient and strain on the carer.
Available in a variety of sizes. The edges of the sheets have been strengthened with a tape that also helps the carer's grip. A hanging loop has been sewn in. We recommend that Easi-Movers are used in accordance with existing policies or with the advice of your moving and handling advisor.
Machine washable to 70°C.
Rota Pad
Popular product for use in general rehabilitation, the One Foot Rota Pad is similar to the Rota Pad, but it is only 280mm diameter.
Self Glide
A highly durable polyethylene seated transfer board for assisted or independent transfers. Its reduced length makes it ideal for quick independent transfer. Two rubber pads on the underside provide increased safety. It is made from a non-splinter material and has been used successfully by the ambulance service. Size: 200mm x 500mm (73/4 x 191/2). Weight 1kg.
Handling Belt
This bright and cheerful transfer belt for paediatrics can be used for walking, cycling, horse riding, floor work or any situation where extra stability and security are required. Machine wash and dry. Fits waist sizes from 380 to 640mm (15 to 25").
