Clicker Paint is an exciting new program that fully integrates with Clicker 5 and works as a powerful stand-alone program as well. Clicker Paint has been designed as an educational tool, incorporating unique and innovative features that add new dimensions to classroom creativity.
Clicker Paint works seamlessly within Clicker, enabling pupils to illustrate their writing and engage in a range of new learning activities. A button on the Clicker Grid opens Clicker Paint as a pop-up that provides the tools and canvas for you to compose your picture. When you close the pop-up, the picture automatically transfers to your Clicker Grid!
Clicker Paint is incredibly pupil-friendly, yet includes many powerful features that will motivate children of all abilities, whether you are working within Clicker or using it as a stand-alone program. In addition to using the child-friendly painting tools to illustrate their stories, pupils can also engage in a range of activities that address specific learning objectives.
Some activities start with a picture already on the canvas and with just the most relevant tools and colours available. For example, the pupil may be offered a simple line drawing to complete, with only the fill tool and the relevant colours available. Other activities include finding and highlighting objects with the circular brush, and using the stamp tool to add pictures to a background - pupils can even create their own stamps!
As a teacher you can use Clicker Paint as an assessment tool - perfect for English language learners and struggling readers and writers. It's easy to customize activities according to learning objectives and the abilities of your pupils.
