PVO is an electronic hand-held magnifier that enlarges images on an integrated 4" TFT monitor.
It is a huge help in everyday life to read text or view images. It is a great aid for people with visual impairment and elderly people with poor eyesight.

The small size of the PVO makes it portable and handy to bring also outside the home. The PVO weighs only 400 grams (incl. batteries) and is therefore very easy to carry. It is delivered with a bag which can be clipped to a belt and a strap to hang around the neck.

The PVO is easy to handle and has only four buttons that enable the user to select the view of true colour, inverted colour, positive black/white picture and negative white/black picture. It is also possible to vary the contrast and light of the image displayed. The camera has two modes, macro and distance. The magnification in macro mode is adjustable from 6 to 12 times. This makes it easy to read books, look at a map and read information at medical packages. The distance mode with a digital zoom of 2 times, makes it possible to look at products and price labels in the supermarket, look at signs and the time table at a bus stop.

The PVO is useable also for writing. Place the nib of the pen on the paper under the camera, for ex. when signing your bank cheque, or when filling in the right row in your pools coupon.

It is possible to connect the PVO to a TV with video input by using the enclosed video cable. The magnification is relative to the size of the TV screen. It is comfortable to sit in front of the TV and read a text with the PVO.
The PVO can also show images on the integrated TFT from other external devices, such as digital still picture- and video cameras. PVO can be electricity-powered and works also with AA standard or rechargeable batteries.
