MLS Reader is a portable handheld camera for connection directly to a laptop or desktop computer. The compact design makes it ideal for anyone that needs high mobility.

Mobility
The compact size and the low weight (0,4 kg) makes MLS Reader easy to carry around and it can be carried in its own protective bag, or together with the laptop in a laptop case. The connection to the computer is easily done through the USB 2.0 port. The MLS Reader is powered directly from the computer and no external battery or power supply is necessary. All features in the system are handled directly from the computer keyboard, which makes it easy and convenient to operate. The absence of controls on the actual unit also makes it extremely sturdy and well adapted to its mobile life and frequent use.

Reading and looking at pictures
Besides natural colours the MLS Reader features high contrast negative/positive picture and artificial colours. Use the natural colour mode to look at pictures, diagrams, drawings and logotypes and use one of the high contrast modes to make it easier to read and optimize your reading speed.
To facilitate reading and following lines, the MLS Reader is equipped with three specially
developed rollers placed underneath. On both sides of the unit, there are tactile marks
that indicate the camera position for easier orientation. The MLS Reader is also shaped
ergonomically to fit comfortably in the hand of the user.

Snapshots
Just by pressing a button you can store images from the camera on your computer. In this way you can save parts of a text, small diagrams or pictures and view the information later on. This feature is ideal for all these things you would like to see not only for the moment but also save for the future. Taking snapshots as well as viewing stored snapshots is easily done by just pressing a button.

Computer connection
The MLS Reader can be connected to both laptop and desktop computers and the connection is easily done through USB 2.0. The software is also easy to install with the automatic "Install shield wizard". The camera picture is presented in a Windows application and both the size and position of the window can be adjusted for different split screen modes. For highest convenience there are also a number of preset split screens modes available. The MLS Reader is compatible with all resolutions and picture refresh rates on your computer.
