MLX Reader is a full colour reading system with auto focus and an integrated 17" TFT screen. The TFT technique gives a calm and flicker free picture with high contrast and brightness.
Ergonomics and functionality have been the keywords during the development of the MLX Reader. By using the latest technology we have created a modern and flexible CCTV suitable for a broad variety of tasks.

Generous working distance
The generous space under the screen (180 mm) makes it easy to write, paint and do other work with your hands. The MLX Reader can therefore be used for many tasks such as crosswords, filling in forms and pools coupons, needlework and mechanical work. The two halogen bulbs give low shadowing on the reading table also when working with your hands.

Colours
Besides natural colours the MLX Reader also features high contrast negative/positive picture and artificial colours. Use the natural colour mode to look at photographs and pictures in magazines and use one of the high contrast modes to facilitate your reading. During installation customized artificial colours can be programmed.

Reading table
The reading table is in size A3, which makes it possible to place larger newspapers and binders on it. The table is entirely produced in metal, which makes it very solid and suitable to also hold heavy objects. Friction brakes in both directions facilitate reading of columns and lines.

Auto focus
The auto focus follows the object under the camera and the picture is automatically adjusted into sharpness. The auto focus facilitates reading of thick books with curved pages, for example novels, dictionaries and the telephone book. It also helps when you need to study objects under the camera, for example food or medical packages. The auto focus can also be turned off to avoid possible disturbances when writing, etc.

Ergonomics
Even though the MLX Reader has a generous working distance, the total height of the system is low, which gives very good ergonomics. The monitor is tilted 10 degrees for a comfortable viewing direction and height adjustable for individual adaptation.

Low weight
The low weight in combination with a gripping handle facilitates moving the unit between different rooms or floors. The stable construction with most parts in metal guarantees a long working life also in environments where the unit is exposed to a lot of moving and rough handling.
